In 2003, Jones Entertainment Group (JEG) set out to create something London had never seen before; a music experience that would bring the community together and give fans a place to truly feel at home.

That vision became Rock the Park, a multi-day festival set in the heart of downtown London’s Harris Park, alongside the scenic Thames River. Surrounded by some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and just steps from downtown restaurants and nightlife, the festival quickly became a signature summer destination for music lovers across Ontario.

From the very beginning, Rock the Park has been built on community spirit and charitable impact. The festival’s early years were closely connected to the mission of Bethany’s Hope Foundation whose legacy remains an honourable part of Rock the Park’s story. Today JEG continues that commitment through valued partnerships with Big Brothers Big Sisters of London & Area, Children’s Health Foundation, and the Anita May Foundation. Together with the support of dedicated fans and partners, Rock the Park has raised over $5 million for local charities and initiatives.

During its first decade, RBC Rock the Park focused primarily on the Classic Rock audience, building a loyal and passionate fan base that returned year after year. In 2014, the festival expanded its reach by introducing its first-ever Country Music night; a milestone moment that welcomed more than 12,000 fans into the park.

This marked the beginning of a broader evolution, as JEG embraced new genres to reflect London’s diverse music community and ensure that every fan could find a night that felt like their own. By continuously evolving its lineup, RBC Rock the Park has grown into a genre-spanning celebration that attracts audiences of all ages and tastes.

The festival has celebrated numerous sold-out shows over the years, including three in 2023 when 12,500 fans per night filled the park for Mumford & Sons, Ludacris, and Billy Talent.

Building on that momentum, 2024 delivered multiple sellouts once again with headliners Nickelback and Tyler Childers, cementing RBC Rock the Park’s reputation as one of Canada’s top music festivals.

In 2026, RBC Rock the Park proudly celebrates its 22nd anniversary. Since its launch, the festival has welcomed more than 800,000 fans and continues to grow as one of Southwestern Ontario’s most anticipated outdoor summer events.

More than just a concert series, RBC Rock the Park is about creating unforgettable moments, reconnecting with friends, reliving memories, and discovering new music together. Each year, the team strives to elevate the fan experience, building on a tradition that has become a true summer staple for Southwestern Ontario.
